Works were required to the Parapet wall, façade repairs and painting due to leaks and structural instability. SWConsult carried out a Defects Inspection and wrote a Technical Specification and Superintended the works that were carried out by a Remedial Contractor.
Façade repairs addressed the following defects:
- Leaking parapet brick walls to roof area
- Cracks to the render to the Southern facade
- Expansion joints to the wall and slab interface
- Localised cavity flashing to some Units
Painting works were undertaken to areas where repairs were carried out and to near match existing external previously painted surfaces.
